- Architecture redraws: introducing TCA or MVVM fidelity, re-drawing module boundaries, reining in cross-layer coupling. Usually follows a Codebase Audit.
- Senior or staff augmentation: drop in as the highest-seniority iOS engineer on your team for a defined window. Pair with juniors, unblock seniors, own the hard code review.
- Unblock specific hard problems: performance regressions you can't pin down, concurrency bugs that keep shipping, App Store rejections that keep recurring. Short engagements, specific outcomes.
Deliverables
- Shipped PRs, modules, or features against agreed milestones.
- Weekly progress note: what shipped, what's in flight, what's blocked.
- Progress notes calibrated to your primary reader: deep-technical (tech lead reviewing PRs), cross-technical (CTO, VP Eng tracking milestones), or executive (non-technical founder, product, or investor update).
- Optional: pair or mentor sessions with your existing iOS engineers.
Timeline
2-week minimum. Typical engagements run 4 to 12 weeks. Longer retainers available when the work is ongoing.
